Good tip. Thanks. I had somehow never thought of using Amarok for doing the transferring to my E70.

Works ok (although I have been experiencing occasional freezes, minor problems (like not deleting the file from the device when ordering to do so) and a few crashes, but as I seldom use my E70 for listening to music, that doesn't really matter).

I would add one point if I might: as I like to keep my music organized in one single folder on my card (the folder is called Mz) I used a different method for adding the device. Instead of having Amarok autodetect the device I manually added a new device with a mount point /media/disk/Mz and that simply avoids Amarok from displaying the whole directory structure on the card, which was slightly annoying with my setup when I first used your method word to word. As my system (Ubuntu) automatically mounts the phones memory to /media/disk anyways, then I simply left the Amarok mount options blank and now it connects directly to /media/disk/Mz every time I press connect.
